  jeremy-tAmid the physically fittest who will be taking on the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon, there will be one man to watch. He is 62-year-old Jeremy Hazell, a Somerset West resident, who will attempt to become the first person to complete the 56km Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon (OMTOM) in his regular day wheelchair.

Celebrating ‘diva’ of grapes

  rolf-tA decade ago, Rolf Zeitvogel produced his maiden vintage from zinfandel grapes at Blaauwklippen farm. In those years Zinfandel was (and still remains), a lesser-known cultivar in South Africa. But, as he told guests just over a week ago, at the 10th anniversary celebration since he produced the first wine from this grape in 2004, zinfandel has a “fantastic story to tell”.
